Cash is preferred for all fare payments.
Minimum fare for eftpos payments is $7 and attracts a 2% fee.
As per IPART recommendations, the fares will be as follows from January 1st, 2024
Woy Woy to Empire Bay:
- Adult: one way $9.90
- Child: $5.00
- Concession one way $5.00
- Adult return: $18.00
- Child return: $9.90
- Concession return: $9.90
Empire Bay – Davistown ( Central & Pine Ave Wharves ONLY) – Empire Bay:
- Adult: one way $5.00
- Child: $4.00
- Concession one way $4
- Adult return: $10.00
- Child return: $8.00
- Concession return: $8.00
Children aged 3 years and under travel free.
Children aged 4 – 15 years are entitled to concession fares.
Fulltime students aged 16 years and older holding a Transport Concession Entitlement Card also pay concession fares.
Primary and secondary students in NSW may also be entitled to free or subsidised travel to and from school.
Commuter F10’s are $60 and are valid for 1 month from purchase price.
Conditions Apply: 1 per person, single use only, cannot be used for group bookings.
This is a CCF discounted fare and F10’s are issued at discretion of skipper.
Disability Access
All passengers with mobility aids need to call ferry PRIOR to journey to ascertain which ferry is running which service on the intended day of travel ferries on both runs as necessary without notice. The SARATOGA & SORRENTO are both accessible, however there are limitations on some wharves & tide scenarios eg king tides, storm surges. Disabled access to the CODOCK II is limited as this is a well deck ferry ie it has stairs and is not suitable for wheelchairs, some walkers or scooters . CCF reserves the right to interchange.

CCF is not part of the NSW Transport Fare Scheme – i.e. OPAL, Funday Sunday or PET fares are not eligible on our route. Apologies, this is a NSW Government determination.

Ferry may wait 5-10 minutes due to late trains on commuter runs, at the Ferry Master’s discretion.
Time Table subject to change without notice.
Charges apply for freight, camping equipment, canoes, bikes etc.
Runs may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please note: All services are subject to alteration with or without notice due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The company reserves the right to substitute another vessel and if necessary for reasons beyond the company’s control, to cancel the scheduled service, but will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the passengers caused by such substitution or cancellation. Central Coast Ferries reserves the right to refuse or accept passengers and/or their goods on its vessels. Persons considered affected by alcohol and/or anti-social behaviour will not be allowed to board ferries.
